Yes, there will be vans leaving from the Saint John Hotel before all wedding-sponsored events and going back to the Saint John Hotel after. Please check the event details for the specific timing.
The Welcome Party will be a white party, meaning (you guessed it!) wear something white! Think light, flowy attire. For men: linen shirts, pants, etc. NO SHORTS For Women: light dresses, linen pants, etc.
Please find some example outfits below!
Henna parties are traditionally vibrant and colorful which can reflect in your outfit! Think bright, warm colors, fun patterns, or embellishments and sequins if you want. Have fun with it!
For those of you who have been to a Henna before and have the traditional clothing, feel free to wear it!
Lookbook for inspiration to follow.
The Henna Ceremony is a Sephardic pre-wedding tradition that is meant to bless to couple with good luck, prosperity, and health. If you're interested in learning more, please click here.
Black tie optional means men are not required to wear tuxes but they are encouraged! Any darker suit will be perfectly fine.
For women, this means full-length dresses or dresses on the longer side.
Yes! Wedding-related events will be on hard, flat surfaces (including the welcome party) so you can wear heels! However, if you plan on going out in Mykonos town, I would strongly encourage you to wear flats. The streets are very uneven and cars are not allowed in the actual town so you will be walking for sure.
The weather in Mykonos in September should be warm but not as hot as the summer months! Average temperatures should be around the high 70s during the day and low 70s at night. Mykonos is never TOO hot which is great but it is always windy. There are some beaches that are more protected from the wind (like Ornos) so we recommend checking the weather app in the morning.
To get into Mykonos town at nighttime you have to cross the port which is very exposed and can be very windy so I always recommend bringing a light jacket! Once you're in Mykonos town you can't feel the wind anymore and it should be warm.
Yes, all wedding-sponsored events will be certified Kosher. We are using Sfez catering from Paris and you can find them listed here.
For other meals, we recommend contacting a Kosher food delivery service like Kosher Mykonos. Instagram is @koshermykonos, Whatsapp number is 0033616482072, and email is hello@koshermykonos.com. If you have any trouble finding kosher food accommodations, please reach out to Suzanne directly at nemni.longwedding@gmail.com
Of course! In the wedding RSVP, we ask for allergies or dietary restrictions which we will accommodate for all other events as well.
The deadline for RSVPs is June 15th BUT we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our room block and book as soon as you can for lower prices.
